Does anyone know where to get some in the UK or is anyone selling them to ship to the uk?

Thanks.

An alternative is the BGA6589 which is available from Digikey.

What modification is needed to the gain circuit to use it?

None. The BGA is capable of more output power than the SXA though, which can be achieved by lowering the attenuation through the t-pad. However if you do this, you would have to add a t-attenuator before the PLL input, as it would exceed the PLL max input.

Basically, it should work as a drop in replacement.. I will be finishing mine with a BGA6589 in the next week or so.
