Wave Bubble PCB order error

by aasa on Fri Feb 05, 2010 9:10 pm

I used BactchPCB and tried to order the wavebubble PCB.

1. I download the file http://www.ladyada.net/media/wavebubble ... erbers.zip

2. Upload to BactchPCB and here are the results

3. Later, I got the following error.

"wavebubble rc1a" violates our design rules of 8 mil traces with 8 mil trace spacing.

How should I fix it? I am a newbie to this PCB ordering thing :(
Thanks a lot for your time.

You'd be far better off -- and save some $$$ -- by ordering some boards from someone who has run a batch. For example, send a private message to aqisnotliquid and see if he still has some boards available. (I got two sets from him and they were just fine.)

If you want to order your own from a fab then either find a fab who will work with those gerbers or using Eagle cad you will need to change the designs to conform to batchpcb's design rules. I don't recommend going this route if you've never done such work before.
