TUNING - BUFFER OUTPUT

by wtfwtfdef on Wed May 07, 2014 10:35 am

Doing the sawtooth frequency test, I am getting 130 Hz to 14Khz on my multimeter at the output of the buffers. In the make pages LadyAda says should be 100Hz to 20kHz. Can anyone explain why I might be getting ~ 6khz lower freq on the high end and approx 30Hz over on the low end? Its kind of stopped me dead, and I cant figure out what Im doing wrong. Im using an LMC555MC, could be a defect in part? Could be builtup solder paste? Any help would be greatly appreciated, all ideas, thoughts welcome.
