RGB LED with Integrated Driver Chip Question
Would, WS2812 5050 RGB LED with Integrated Driver Chips be fast enough when connected serially to make a good Spoke POV for a bicycle? Or, would they need to each be wired individually (in parallel).

He's running full video (so presumably 30Hz at least) on what looks like a full string of 60 in serial, as far as I can see.
Driving the data may be more of an issue, but a recent Arduino-alike should be capable of buffering and pushing a fair chunk.
I have a string of the 60 LED/metre arriving from Adafruit tomorrow, and SpokePOV was exactly the project I had in mind for it. Assuming I can pump enough power into it....
