Programming SpokePOV

by rabbitvcactus on Fri May 09, 2014 5:33 pm

Hello
I have just bought a spokepov kit, and assembled it.
I am wondering if any usbtiny avr dongle will work, like this one,
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B006CHG37E/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1?pf_rd_p=479289247&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B007XF6D38&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=1P2978KYFYN9XRH3724Q

as it is hard to get the adafruit one in the uk.
Thanks

We don't know anything about the SainSmart programmer. But you can get a real USBtinyISP from oomlaut in the UK:

Ok, I have ordered one from there now.
However, is it possible to use any AVR programmer, or just this one, as I will want a cheaper one which I don't mind breaking!
I would have thought any would do it.

Thanks

We only support the USBtinyISP. Other programmers may work. I don't know.
