Hello,

Is there a way to get a RoHS Compliance declaration for part# 915B?:
https://www.adafruit.com/product/915

In general, will you be adding a link where one could print a RoHS compliant statement for your products rather than having to request them via your forum? It appears that you indicate that items are either RoHS or non-RoHS compliant... it would be great if the declaration could be found with it.

We tried posting certs on the product pages in the past. It did not go well.

We pulled them because they only seemed to invite armchair documentation lawyers who weren't satisfied with the way ours were written. They also tended to invite demands for a laundry list of other certs that we don't keep.

That's not our business. We're a hobbyist supply company with a focus on getting beginners started, not an ISO-9000 supplier that trades on documentation. We respect Digikey and Mouser for managing certifications, product-change notices, etc, but that isn't our thing. Organizations that require that kind of documentation support aren't our core market, and will be better served by real industrial suppliers, or by using our design docs to source and fabricate equivalent hardware under their own process and documentation control.

For now, and for the foreseeable future, our policy will be to provide RoHS certs for the products we can in fact certify upon request.
