Low voltage from li poly backpack

by richardmckimm on Mon Dec 11, 2017 6:32 pm

I'm getting a low output voltage from the li-poly backpack when wired up as per the supernova poi instructions. Measuring the battery pins, the lipo is at 4.0V. However, the measured voltage between the batt and gnd pins is only 2.4v.

Any ideas?

Can you post pictures of the board and your soldering and connections?

I have re-melted the solder joints and there is no change in behaviour.

The grey wires go to the switch.
As per the directions on the supernova project, the black wire goes to Teensy Ground, the orange wire goes to VUSB, the red wire goes to Teensy Vin.

Have you tested it with the wires not connected to anything?
