How to make a neopixel lightsaber

Post by Sebastian0028 »

For the fight club nerds who want to bring their saber dueling obsession everywhere, we present to you a functional lightsaber. This lightsaber uses an Adafruit micro-lumi led, and has force feedback effects which you can even program. The best part about this project is it uses the same parts as our previous tutorials that used an Arduino, so an intermediate micro-controller user should be able to pick up this tutorial rather quickly.

Now first things first, lets talk about how a https://ziasabers.com/shop/neopixel-lightsaber/ works? A lightsaber is basically two sabers (bl feedback. The project is based around this Instructable , which provides all the information you'll need to put your own together. To make it easier to digest, here are some photos of the components that go into making it.
To assemble, you'll need:
[*]2x 3mm LED's (Red)
1 x 10k Resistor (Brown Black Orange Gold) 1 x Adafruit Trellis Microcontroller loaded with demo code 2 x Flathead Screws for blade
