DT71 tweezer volt meter not functioning

Post by funkfinger »

Hi, Having issue like this: viewtopic.php?f=19&p=882766

The device does not show up when plugged into my computer.

While plugged in to the charger, the screen reads

Code: Select all

DFU:V3.53
5.214V
Followed what I could on the enclosed issue but to no avail.

The screen turns on in the charger, but does not turn on in the tweezers.

The tweezers charged all night, and the red light never turned off.

The order number is #2658144-0123715368

Do you have a known good USB data cable?

I've seen these tweezers do well with a factory reset which would require a working USB data cable for the mounting and upgrade of FW.

The device doesn't show up when plugged into USB on both my Mac and PC so I can't update that file

My question about your the USB cable still remains. Are you using a known good USB data cable that you use with other microcontrollers or storage devices to transfer data?
