Hello!
I followed the SPI flash tutorial below with the FT232h and an AT25DF041B TSSOP chip in a DIP socket.
When I run SPIFlash.exe in command prompt I get the following output:
init..
reset..
flash ID: 0x1F 0x44 0x02 0x00 0x07 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF
bulk erase..
programming..
reading..
Found difference between flash and file!
ABORT.
The manufacturer ID and device ID above are correct for my chip. I have tried adding the -b bulk erase and -n no erase options. Verbose output shows its writing the data but the verify reads all 0xFF. The wiring is very simple so I'm sure that's not the issue. The !wp and !hold are both tied to 3.3v.
Thank you for the help!

Hi Selene,
The guide uses ftdiflash.exe are you able to utilize that utility?
While it might not be a wiring issue can you post a photo of how you have it wired?
