Patch Cable for I2C and LTC4311

Post by Wommel »

I am about to implement an Adafruit LTC4311 active terminator. Tutorial https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-ltc ... terminator reports good results by using an Ethernet cable. Is it recommended to use a twisted pair of that cable for SDA and SCL, e. g. TX+ and TX-? Since SDA and SCL are carrying different signals, this may be counter-productive, and I should rather feed them through cores that are not intertwined with each other, e. g. TX+ and RX+? Thanks for any suggestion.
