My name is Zachary Serritella, I am an engineer for Inertia Unlimited.
My company purchased 500 PiTFT 3.5 inch touchscreens for use in a product we are building in July.
Most of them work perfectly, but we have found a few units that no longer respond to touch after burn-in testing.
We did swap the screen on the system and functionality returned, so the problem is definitely within the screen.
We were wondering if you could possibly replace the units (we currently have 10 defective units, but are still building and testing new units daily)
We do plan on doing a significant amount of business with Adafruit in the future for our next round of units, and were hoping you could help us with this small percentage of defective units.

They worked for a while, then quit? Please check that the ribbon cable is fully inserted and secured.
If they still don't work. please email [email protected] with a link to this thread for replacements

Yes it worked for our initial testing and then the units were left running for 48 hours. Most of the screens turned out great, but a few did not respond to touch after being burned in. Everything seems to be in the correct place and the touchscreens display just fine, they just doesn't respond to any touch input.
