Arcade button LEDs

I recently bought three 100mm arcade buttons, and have them wired up and working. My problem is that they don't actually light. The LED inside works properly, but once I re-assemble the button, I can't see the light at all. Am I just doing something wrong? I'm sure there's something I'm supposed to take out or something like that, I am just not sure what the problem is. Thanks for the help in advance!

Do you mean that the LED doesn't light when you press the button? You need to have your code turn the LED on when it detects the button push.
