BME680 Resistance to IAQ

by Nixfindus on Thu Dec 28, 2017 3:01 pm

Hi, I use the BME680 with the Adafruit library and it works very well. Now I want to map the resistance to the IAQ table and the Question are, is the resistance linear to IAQ and what is the maximum resistance which the BME680 provide? Or were can I find some additional Information about the Interpretation from the measurement? Thank you for the support.

Bosch would be the best place to get design information on that chip. https://www.bosch-sensortec.com/bst/products/all_products/bme680

Hi,
I have been working with BME680 for a week now. I have gone through the datasheet of BME680, but I don't quite understand how the IAQ values are mapped to the concentration of VOC's in a particular environment. Is there a way in which we can map the IAQ values to the concentration of VOC's. Say if IAQ is 25, is there a way to determine the concentration of VOC's in mg/m^3 or ug/m^3 or something of that sort?Could somebody please help me with this?

I would like to see an answer to this as well.
Thanks!
