SHT31D sensor with board replacement

Post by zbitter »

Dear technicians

We run a project using the SHT31D sensor board but since we use it for pool dehumidifier we need it to be protected against harsh environment factors- especially chlorine.

Is there any alternative to this sensor board which will be suitable for this application?

Thank you

Chlorine is a pretty strong oxidizing agent and low-cost capacitive humidity sensors like the SHT series would not hold up well under prolonged exposure. You would probably need an industrial level sensor rated for harsh environments. Omega Engineering is a good source: https://www.omega.com/kwbld/relativehumiditysensor.html
