HDMI DIY FFC stuck (PID 3550)

The black plastic reattaining clip in the FFC of the right angle full-size HDMI connector was stuck. I was able to remove it forcefully (but this broke one side of the clip) and install the ribbon cable, however when I use the cable to connect a Pi4 to an HDMI display, I do not get a signal. This pi does work when connected to this display via another micro HDMI <-> HDMI adapter. I believe this is a repeat of the issue described here:

But could additionally be the issue described here:

Do you have any troubleshooting suggestions? Thank you.

No real way to troubleshoot it, let's just replace it. Send an email to support@adafruit.com with a link to this thread and your order number and they can send you a new one.
