Bought audio FX sound board. WTB audio board with even less

Dear Adafruit,

I just bought the audio FX sound board. Do you have any other products that are able to play a compressed audio file (preferably MP3, more preferably AAC), and which has as smaller power consumption than the audio FX board?

To my knowledge, the audio FX sound board consumes about 30 mA in stand by mode and about 40 mA in play mode using headphones, am I correct? The power consumption mainly stemming from the chip constantly reading the trigger pins, according to this thread: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=151083

In the same thread referred to above, it is mentioned that you cannot turn off this constant reading of the trigger pins, making it difficult to substantially improve the power consumption.

I basically just need a board which is able to play an audio file, and which may be power optimised to run at about 20 mA or preferably less when playing music on headphones.

Thanks,
Jonathan
