MCP4725 & XBee

by Zaemo on Mon Sep 16, 2019 2:30 pm

Hello Friends,
I have an analog pot on an Arduino Uno which is sending values the XBee to a receiving Uno. I am successfully using these values to change the brightness on an LED on pin 3.
Perhaps someone could help me understand how to get these PWM values to the MCP4725 DAC. I am using the Adafruit MCP4725 library which includes the Wire.h library I believe.
Do I need to drop the Pin 3 PWM output or can I simply add the DAC to the code and use both? If so, how? Do I need to do something like a serial begin type operation? The example sketches work. Apologies but I’m confused and inexperienced as you can see. I can add my code when I get back to my laptop.
