Arduino Based FT8 Transceiver

Post by gliderpilot »

FT8 is currently the most popular communication format used by radio amateurs. FT8 is a digital mode. Its claim to fame is its ability to transmit and receive signals when traditional modes such as voice and Morse code do not work.

My latest (and most ambitious) Arduino project to date is a 40-meter transceiver designed for FT8 operation. Key components include the Adafruit #2045 Si5351 breakout board, and the Adafruit #181 LCD. Project details including photographs can be seen at http://theradioboard.com/rb/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=8822

At this same website there are links to the schematic diagrams and Arduino code.
