ds1307 RTC Kit - now.get

by elf on Sun Aug 15, 2010 2:11 pm

Hello,

I built and am using the ds1307 RTC kit for the first time today. I can't seem to use the 'now.get()' function mentioned in the tutorials? Looking at the cpp and h docs of the RTClib, I can't find it in there either. I downloaded the library from adafruits link. Did this function get removed?
Otherwise, is there another way to calculate time elapsed? I might try the unixtime function that is there.

Second question - is there a need for the high baud rate? Other than it is just faster. (57600 compared to what I have always used, 9600)

Just as a heads up, the documentation page still references the get() function.
