adaptor does not fit

I recently purchased a solar panel, Adafruit #1525, a solar charger, Adafruit #4755, and an adaptor cable Adafruit #2788, as recommended.

I recieved teh cable, and it does not fit the male connector on teh solar panel. Which size is incorrect? Then panel, or the cable?

Please specify the cable I SHOULD have bought, or send me one with the correct size connector. The large end that goes into the charger seems to fit just fine.

please try with a firm hand, folks say it doesnt work, we test it, it fits. its just a tight fit?

I just received a 200 Solar panel and (2) 2788 adapter cables.
I am sorry but the solar panel connector will not fit in the adapter cable.

Reading this forum, I applied a large amount of additional force. I still could not force the solar panel connector into the adapter cable. I am concerned that any additional force will break the center pin on the adapter cable jack, or damage the solar panel plug.

I purchased (2) adapter cables to allow me to connect to different solar panels. I don't think a forced connection can be reliably made multiple times (maybe not more than once).

Are you having trouble with the two adapter cables and have you tried them on different panel plugs?
