Hi,
I have 5 of the STEMMA soil sensors. I've wired each up as recommended in the guide to my ESP32 Feather board. Each time I run the sample code provided in the seesaw library, I get seemingly extremely high and random capacitive readings (in the range of 30,000-60,000), but normal temperature readings. This behavior persists across all 5 sensors and different sets of wires. I've taken a look at the readings from the I2C bus and it looks like the request for the capacitive reading is made to the sensor, but it is not responding to the request.
Any ideas on what may be wrong?

Post a photo showing your hardware and connections and we'll take a look. 800x600 images usually work best.

Here's my setup - I had to pop off the connector and solder my own wires as I didn't receive enough of the wires in time for my project. I'm also using the latest version of the seesaw library (1.4.3), although I have also tried with older versions of the library with the same result.

I think I found a fix to the issue - viewtopic.php?f=19&t=162556&start=15#p866689. Using jim_frankfort's code returned normal capacitance values from the sensor. I also left a comment on the seesaw github page for jim's issue, hopefully it will be fixed in the future.
