Adafruit FX Soundboard PN 2220 undetectable by computer

Post by ngj318 »

I purchased an FX Soundboard PN 2220 with the 3.5 mm jack and 16MB of storage to use in a project I'm working on. I was able to connect the board to the computer and to see the files it contained. I soldered the breadboard posts onto each port and was able to play the stock sound through a speaker. Everything was ready for me to load new sounds onto the board but now it is not recognizable when I plug it into my computer. The green power LED lights up when connected to the computer but it doesn't show up at all to put any files onto it. What can I do to get it to work?

Can you post photos of your soldering.

Is there anything else connected to the device when you plug it in at this point?
