FONA808 (#2542) Unreadable/Undeletable SMS (Resume)(

I have returned from my assignment and can continue to work on this problem: Using FONATest, I have one SMS that cannot be read or deleted.

It was suggested that I try a AT+CMGDA to delete all SMS messages. I added a fona.println("AT+CMGDA") to the test sketch. It executed and there was still one message.

I added a message and the count rose to 2. The SMS I sent in was in slot 1. I deleted it and the count showed 1. I could not read or delete it.

I have programmed around the undeleteable and unreadable SMS to keep my project running but this is not the answer.

I would greatly appreciate some guidance and help with this.
