The part numbers you list are DigiKey part numbers. And only two of those products are from Adafruit. You can find the DiggiKey prices on the DigiKey site.

Our price for the Adafruit Data Logger Shield is $13.95 https://www.adafruit.com/product/1141
And the TCA9548A I2C multiplexer is $6.95 https://www.adafruit.com/product/2717

Our version of the BNO055 breakout board is $19.95 https://www.adafruit.com/product/4646

We do not have a Mega 2650 equivalent, but our Grand Central has the same form-factor and uses an ATSAMD51 M4 processor which significantly more powerful than the Atmega 2560. It sells for $37.50 https://www.adafruit.com/product/4064

Hi diymocap

From this post and your previous post, it would appear we have a common interest in the measurement of body movements and have similar problems. I’m trying to measure tremors in the hand/arm. My solution to the component problem is:

I started with an R3 Uno but quickly exhausted the 2k memory. Switched to an ELEGOO MEGA R3 Board ATmega 2560 I purchased from Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H4 ... =UTF8&th=1

For data logging I used SD Card Shield V4 https://www.seeedstudio.com/SD-Card-Shi ... -1381.html

You can use the ExFatFormatter with the above combo. I haven’t yet had time to try it with the BNO085 sensor. I chose this sensor over the BNO055 as I had read of some problems with the BNO055 on this and other forums. So far I have a single Adafruit LSM6DS33 sensor working and recording in this configuration. It allows me to sample and record 6 DOF at 250Hz which is the fastest sample rate I could get the Mega to handle. Depending on the number of sensors, the Mega may not be fast enough. I expect whenI get my SensorGlove together with measurements of the 7 DOF of the hand/arm and 2 more 3-Axis sensors for a finger and thumb, I will have to switch processors to an Arm or similar processor. YMMV

My choice for a multiplexer is: SparkFun Qwiic Mux Breakout - 8 Channel (TCA9548A) https://www.sparkfun.com/products/16784

Since you have already asked about the I2C cable length in a separate post, I won’t bother with those components.

I would be interested is hearing more about your project either here or offline.

I just found this: SlimeVR Full-Body Tracker https://www.crowdsupply.com/slimevr/sli ... dy-tracker

I may be a simple answer to your problem at a larger $ cost.

Briefly, my interest in a motion capture suit is to measure tremors. Either Essential Tremors or Parkinson's. Also with Parkinson's, gait measurements are very helpful.

Aside from the obvious use, what do you intend to do with the motion capture suit once you get it working?

Both are breakout boards for the BNO055. The one in our store is our design for a general purpose breakout board. The one in the DigiKey store is from Atmel/Microchip and appears to be designed to plug into their development systems.

Either one would probably work for your application. Although the Atmel/Microchip board is a bit bulkier and has a 40 week lead time from DigiKey.
