Hi,
I'm trying to use these to make a cable that is USB C M(Adafruit #4108) > ribbon > USB B M(Adafruit# 4106) where the USB C end goes to the host. The cables don't seem to work, is that because the USB C end is setting the host direction wrong? Is there a way to fix this by removing some of the SMT components? I had planned on using about 50 of these in a prototype run and hope I can find a workaround.
I can search the forums and find lots of questions about these, but no answers- I really wish there were schematics posted but any help is much appreciated!

Well, I love Adafruit and have designed many projects around Adafruit things over the past 15 years, but this is my first time asking for support and it is pretty frustrating. Somebody there knows how this thing is wired, but it doesn't seem like there's any way to actually get an answer.
