Macropad USB-C Broken

Post by acaguy »

I received my Macropad RP2040 a week ago. When I began setting it up, I noticed the USB-C connector was very loose. After just a few days of use, it broke off. Now the Macropad is no longer functioning. Hopefully, Adafruit support can help.

Kindly post a clear photo of the USB area of the board.

Ouch.. that looks nasty.

Please email [email protected] with a link to this thread, your order number, and request the replacement of one MacroPad.

No worries. Connectors should never break off under normal use. If they do it's usually due to being poorly attached during fab. Uncommon, but things happen.

It's a fun bit of hardware, enjoy it. I'm thinking of adding some of the I2C rotary encoder boards to mine for more knobs to twiddle.
