I've never played with displays before but I have a PJ5001H07-31H4 5" display that I salvaged from a "video in print" card that I received and I was wondering whether I could use a TFP401 HDMI/DVI decoder to interface it with a Raspberry Pi.
I know I can buy a display and be guaranteed compatibility but, since I already have one that is potentially viable, I thought I would take the opportunity to try and learn something new. Worst case scenario, I would need to purchase the display separately if I can't get it to work with the one I have.
I'm not sure if links are allowed or not but a search using the above part number will lead you to the manufacturer website if you need more details than I am able to provide,
Thank you for any assistance you can offer.
