I've recently purchased the SCD-41 from Adafruit to monitor and log CO2. Just running the example code, I'm getting some odd values and I'm wondering if I have a bad sensor.
It looks like the SCD-41 initially reads "normal" (~1100 ppm of CO2) but it will start reading ~9000-8000 ppm after letting it sit for a few minutes. This is beyond the range of the sensor. Is there some sort of configuration/calibration that I need to do with the SCD-41? Or am I really reading 9000 ppm of CO2?
I'm using IC2 and a MKR Zero.
SCD-41 Defective?

Please post a photo of your setup showing how everything is connected.

Unfortunately, I am unable to take a picture of the setup because it is in a lab setting were no photos are allowed. The basic setup only contains 4 wires.
MKR ---> Adafruit SCD-41
5V ----> Vin
GND ---> GND
11 SDA ---> SDA
12 SCL ---> SCL

Re: SCD-41 Defective?
Are the connections being made using the STEMMA QT connector? Or via the header pins?
Is this the example being run?
