Mods: I can't find a sensor forum so "other" seemed closest. If this needs to be moved, my apologies, and please do so.
Has anyone had any experience waterproofing the stemmaqt soil sensor, or who can recommend an outdoor soil sensor? I am working on a public garden project which is an hour away, so I'm wanting to automate watering (and nearly everything else).
Thank you in advance!

Re: StemmaQT soil sensor waterproofing
A common way to waterproof electronics is to completely coat the electronics end (the top) with epoxy (after connecting the wiring) The "blade" end is already waterproof.

Thank you for the answer, can you recommend an epoxy?
