Hi,
This is a mechanical issue with fitting the rubber cover knob on the rotary controller.
I bought one of your MacroPads and it's great!
I do however have an issue trying to get the Rubberized plastic knob onto the metal post of the rotary controller shaft.
I pushed pretty hard, but I don't want to break the rotary controller. It looks like the knob is too small.

The knob has ridges inside that mean it only slips onto the controller shaft in one orientation, that matches the flat side of the shaft. That's so it grabs the shaft securely and won't spin freely.

I do see the ridges, but there is no orientation where it fits on the shaft.
I've forced it about 1/3 of the way onto the shaft, but it honestly feels like I'm going to break the rotary.

Oh.. that's different than any of the rotary encoder knobs I have, including the one that came with the MacroPad.
How far does it go into the encoder shaft? Mine leave 3.5mm between the bottom of the knob and the top of the box of the encoder. Or are you saying the the knob won't fit onto the shaft at all?

And thank you Dave for responding. Yes, the knob won't fit at all.
