Programming the iNecklace Help

I was wondering how you program the inecklace to blink differently. Google was no help to me surprisingly. Do i need a computer program or is there a physical machine that I need to buy?

If you google "program attiny10" you'll get a bunch of hits on how to program the chip. But here's a good place to start:

So do i need to essentially purchase an attiny10, hook it up to the inecklace circuit board, then program it using something like atmel studio?

No - the attiny is already in the necklace. You'll have to open it up to access the chip. and attach wires for programming it.

You ought to be able to do it with something like an FTDI Friend.
