BEDAZZLER HELP

by Freestyle on Wed Sep 19, 2012 8:27 pm

Greetings everyone,
I need help I am in a process of ordering the PCB board for the bedazzler LED plate. Now I want to know what exact size for 37 1+ Watt LEDs. The “foot print” refers to the LED connectors that get solder to the PCB – the leads need to align to the pads on the PCB so the connection is made correctly.
Here is a picture of an LED, the LED needs to solder to the pads shown as “A” and “C”, the center odf these pads are approximately 0.323” apart. Please help! I appreciate your time reading this.

Hi Free,

Generally, one would refer to the LED's data-sheet for dimension info.
Are you unable to find the data-sheet?

As John says, the device data-sheet is your best reference. LED technology is developing steadily, and sizes are coming down. The last lot of 3W leds I bought are smaller than the ones I bought 6 months earlier.
