MAX31855 problem - reads zero

Hi again! I wasnt able to call the function you tell me but I tried the followng:
The arduino is connected to the cars 12v and Ground! I also use some other sensors that are grounded to the arduino and they use 5v. When I connect the max and the thermocouple to the arduino and all the others are connected to the arduino I see the message T/c problem. When feed the arduino with power fron the usb then it starts working good!

When you are feeding power via USB, The Arduino (and Max31855) are probably isolated from the chassis ground. You need to either keep the Arduino circuitry isolated, or find an insulated thermocouple.

My thermocouple is insulated. Can I ask you something? If I feed the max with ground and 5 volt from my cars ecu pin and connect only the do, clck and the othes one to the arduino digital pins will it work?

No. The Arduino needs a common ground with the MAX31855 for a signal reference.
