Circuit Playground show

by devellison on Thu Apr 21, 2016 3:22 pm

Just wanted to drop a note - watched all the episodes of "Circuit Playground" (A-H) with my twin 4-year-olds recently. Multiple times at this point - they absolutely love it. I was pretty surprised how well it went over.

They really wanted to do the lemon batteries, so we did. It worked, but only some LEDs would light up well (one of my newer 5mm blue LEDs did way better than my old scrap 3mm ones). With 6 lemons in series, we measured about 5V but less than a mA of current when lighting the LED. Then my daughter decided to improve the battery - while we're still working on really getting the concept of a circuit at 4, I wasn't about to stop her ;)

Anyway, thanks much. We've really enjoyed the series so far.

This should get a post in the blog, with a link to the videos, of course.

(I is for..? Induction? Impedance? IC? Current?)
