Today, cannot seem to get the Pro-Mini to unload or reload the boot loader.

Re: USBTINYISB ... PRO-MINI
You might try downloading version 1.6.9 of the IDE and see if that helps.

Re: USBTINYISB ... PRO-MINI
okay ... so I replaced Arduino Software IDE 1.6.10 with 1.6.9 for the Mac.
the red light on the USBTINYISP blinked when I selected "Upload from the programmer".
then I got this screen that it stays on .... I do not know how to do the "-F" it mentions.

Re: USBTINYISB ... PRO-MINI
.... no reply needed .... decided to go with a company that actually supports their products ... SparkFun ... programmer cable .... Arduino boards +++ ... a real developers site .... i hope the approach here at adafruit works for them ... cause it sure is not working for me ... cheers
