Gemma V2 Bootloader Issue

Post by didichan31 »

Hello,

When plugging in my Gemma into my laptop, the red LED used in the bootloader is dim, and then the board isn't recognized. I don't have an Arduino UNO (yet, but I plan to exchange my raspberry pi a+ for store credit in order to buy the uno). Is there any other way to repair the bootloader without using the Uno?

I can tell you that the Trinket Loader program didn't run on my Arduino Mega 2560, but it ran fine on an Arduino Uno R3. You might just have to suck it up and buy a Uno (that's not so bad). I don't know if it would run on Uno variants like the Uno Ethernet, which I think uses the same processor.
