Getting the dreaded "avrdude: Error: Could not find USBtiny device (0x1781/0xc9f)".
I changed no settings on the computer. I've tried two different USB ports so far with the same result.
I have the correct board "Trinket Pro 3v/12 MHz (USB)" and the programmer "USBtinyISP".
Code compiles just fine.
Do I need to re-flash the bootloader...?
Please help.
Edit: when I power the Trinket Pro via USB, the green LED is solid and the red blinks 2x quickly then pauses... not the "pulsating" on and off that I remember from the 1st one...?
Replacement Trinket Pro... same setup... can't upload code

Nevermind.
After a few hours of searching and trying different ideas, I put a USB extender between the computer's USB port and the micro USB cable.
