We have a series of 'getting started' lessons from Dr. Simon Monk:

And one by Lady Ada too:

Just purchased the Adafruit starter kit for Arduino. Stumbled onto by accident: https://learn.adafruit.com/arduino-prot ... e/assembly. Would have been nice to have been steered here somehow by Adafruit.

I agree with this recommendation, I went through all these lessons beforehand which really helped me answer any questions my son had. There are also some great tutorials on what kind of projects you can do with the Arduino on this site.

HI, I am currently building a Football themed computer mod. I have a 5 inch monitor I'm going to be using as a Jumbo Tron, (simple hookup, 1 three foot hdmi cable out of the 5 inch screen and into the hdmi of my graphics card. Walla! Instant Jumbo Tron. I came across your site and saw the scoreboards. If I were to mount one of these above the 5 inch screen how hard is it to provide power or how does it get power, (you mention 4 pin, is that a 4 pin plug like pc case fans use? I didn't understand how to program it also, it said "write this and that" but I was lost :( I was going to call and inquire about it but it said you only use this method to correspond. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you, Joe
