Arduino Starter Kit form Arduino.cc Question...

Post by pappytom64 »

I am new to d-i-y electronics and wanted to jump into it with a starter kit, specifically with the Arduino Starter Kit from Arduino.cc (product id #1078) sold on the Adafruit website. The question I have is:

Is the Arduino Uno board that comes with the kit an R3 version?

I couldn't find anywhere on the webpage where it specifies what Uno board I would be receiving with the kit. I would like the latest revision of the board to be in the kit and not a piece of technology that has been updated one or two times over.

Thanks in advance,
Thomas

Hi,

I am also looking at this kit to work on with my daughter. Does kit ID: 1078 ship with the UNO R3 version that is made in the USA? Buying the UNO independently shows as made in USA but this one only mentions made in cooperation with arduino.cc.

Thanks,
US made supporter.
