VL6180X freezes

Hi Dear All,

I always been looking for a way to us VL6180x for water level sensing, if that is possible to measure directly on clear water surface.
It is the return time setting, we have to tweak about ?

In order, to differentiate the light reflection from the surface , and not the bottom of container.

Hi Jeff,

I couldn't get it to work directly to the surface. I'm measuring the distance to the surface of distilled water (from above) and can't get any usefull data from the sensor. So I'm using a floating disc made of thin styrofoam, which helps a lot :-)
