Audio FX and a wireless transmitter/receiver

by jc27 on Tue Oct 31, 2017 12:47 pm

I am working on a new project and want to use sound clips. I see that the audio fx soundboard can store wave files and play them without a micro controller. I have a wireless kit that has a receiver that outputs 5v when triggered by the transmitter. The FX board says that its not scriptable, so there is no way for me to change how it is triggered to play the sound clips. Is there something that is similar in size to the fx soundboard that I can set up to trigger using the 5v of the wireless system?
I would like to try to keep the setup a s small as possible.

There's a tutorial, Audio FX Remote Control, where turning a 5V pulse into an Audio FX trigger is step one. See if that helps. All the best.
