Plastic mounting plate rubber feet.

Post by monore »

Hello,

Sometime ago I purchased one of this: https://www.adafruit.com/product/275

I really liked the product but I specially liked the rubber feet that came with it (they appear to have some kind of nonslip coating), I liked those rubber feet so much I want to get some more of the same and other sizes for some other projects I have going on.

Would it be ok for someone from Adafruit to share where I can find those rubber feet? By the way, I tried McMaster-Carr (https://www.mcmaster.com/catalog/8771K81) but the ones they had are not as good as the one you have.

Thank you.

I use these which seem to be the same ones included with various kits: https://www.adafruit.com/product/550.

Excellent, thanks, I really appreciate it, those will come in really handy.

Still hoping to get a reply from Adafruit as to where they purchase them from, the reason for this is because I need other sizes.

Thanks again.

oh wait... you are a forum Admin, therefor you must be from Adafruit!

Sorry about that, can you share where you guys buy those from? Do they have other sizes? I need ones that are around 1/2" (around 12 mm) and 1" (around 25mm).

Thanks.

I'm only loosely affiliated. No idea where they come from. I either use these as they've proven to be excellent: gripy, good adhesive, and fairly low profile. I have others that I got in a grab bag from Jameco that are reasonable good with a variety of shapes and sizes. Generally a bit big for small electronics projects but fine for larger things.

If you want bigger, there are these https://www.adafruit.com/product/5049. They screw on, but you could use https://www.adafruit.com/product/4813 to stick them on.

I'll float your question up the ranks, though.
