Lilypad Clock installation

I am using the Lilypad as the controller for a large clock project. Displaying H:M:S. My question is about clock accuracy. How accurate can I expect the Lilypad to be in keeping time over a few months? Would it be more accurate to employ a 555 chip or something similar to keep count?
