Bug in TLC59711 library

by Bautastein on Fri May 28, 2021 5:12 am

Hi

There is a bug that causes occasional crashes when using the TLC59711 library. It causes my Arduino Nano Every to reboot, and the example code caused it to reboot immediately upon power-on, so that I struggled for a long time reprogramming the board.

I made a pull request on Github on 29 Apr. 2021, one month ago, under user name Bautastein. I was recently informed that there is already a pull request for the same bug there, submitted on 10 Feb 2021. The bug has been there since 4 apr 2019.

For my own project I'm just using an updated local version of the file, but the bug is severe, so I'm posting here to make you aware of the bug and that there is a fix waiting for you on Github.
