Is there an advantage of a PT100 RTD over a PT1000?

I know the higher resistance of the PT1000 results in higher accuracy because the resistance of the lead wires is 10X less in comparison.

But I can't find any advantage to the PT100.

The PT100s have been around for a longer time and there is a lot of industrial instrumentation designed to use them.

That makes sense, thanks.

I'm starting from scratch with 100% Adafruit products so I think I should go with the PT1000.

Yea, All else being equal, PT1000 is probably the way to go.
