Micro USB B Jack to USB A Connector water protection questio

I am wondering if there was any Water resistant tests done on the "Micro USB B Jack to USB A Plug Round Panel Mount Adapter." Would it leak through the connection if sprayed with water?

There is no "weatherproof" statement or IP rating with the Adafruit "USB B Jack to USB A Jack Round Panel Mount Adapter" #4212. You can take that to mean that this device can be compromised with moisture exposure.

If being able to handle light moisture is important you could look into weatherproof enclosures. This PG-7 with cable glands is a good example #3931.
