Re: Fingerprint question

Hello, I need a help, I used the speed change using the setSysParaBaud function, I put the number 8 and sent it to the module, now I can no longer communicate with it, is there any way to get back to the initial state, or damage the firmware, Grateful

Set the baud rate for the fingerprint reader in your sketch to 76800

Does it reset to 9600 if you disconnect power?

If you sent 8 in the setSysParaBaud function, then the baud rate should be 9600*8 = 76800. Are you using hardware serial or software serial to talk with it?

As my friends go, I would like to know and there is the possibility of storing the templates on an SD card, I tried to deploy to save the template from the buffer to the card, but when I put the card library the reader to create the templates, help out? Grateful

This is a difficult problem. User Don Jeronimo has developed some code to do it:
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=33229&hilit=template&start=60#p359231

THE DEVELOPED CODE SEEMS TO BE GOOD, BUT THE GREAT PROBLEM THAT YOU FIND IS TO OPERATE TWO LIBRARIES TOGETHER, THE BIOMETRY AND SDCARD, IT SEEMS THAT THE ARDUIN DOES NOT COMPOSE THE TWO JOINTS, HAVE THIS PROBLEM COME?

I don't think there is a conflict between the two libraries. If you post your code, I can look for a problem.

I am sending the code, for knowledge, I was able to write closing the communication scenario with the sensor mySerial.end (); , I record the information in the sdcard and after recording I start again, but I do not know if this is correct.

I don't think there is any need to call mySerial.end().
I would have to see your code.
