Have you tried different cables between the printer and power supply?

It could also simply be that the printer has failed.

Hi Team,

Before logging this case with you, I checked all the possibility w.r.t connection :) the only thing which I never tested earlier was main power supply.

When you say failed, does it mean it is dead :( then what other alternative I have ??

Regards,
Vishal

Hi Team,

Kindly help fix the problem I am facing.

Their must be some way to fix this right? may be by updating firmware etc. If you have any instruction then let me know and I can try updating it.

Please keep in mind that its urgent for me to fix this issue on priority. Hoping to get quick resolution.

I don't know of any repair that you can make. The only we information we have on the "CP437" problem is that is appears to be a power issue. The printing samples you have posted also point to a power issue. If the power is good, then the only other possibility is that the printer itself has failed.

Our warranty period is 30 days. You have had this printer for over a year.

Hello Team,

OK got it, I was very late in reporting this issue to you. But as I said I hardly used it. Anyway thanks for the help!

I had seen many You tube videos and the printer works very cool for many people and hence I bought it, but it never worked for me that way and hence very disappointed. Kind a bitter experience with the purchase.

Vishal

I wasn't able to get mine to print more than a couple lines with any of my cheap 2A adapters. While the product page recommends 2A, I've found a 4-10A switching power supply is the only way to get this thing working.

Hi, just received my printer yesterday, but it's not printing the test. I am using the following products:

https://www.adafruit.com/products/276
https://www.adafruit.com/products/368
https://www.adafruit.com/product/597

And following this guide:

https://learn.adafruit.com/mini-thermal ... first-test

When i turn on the power, the green led flashes. When I press the button, the paper rolls out for about 10mm, then stops, no printing.

I have attached a photo of the front of the printer, is the black stains normal?

Have you got the paper installed the right way around, like this?

The paper isn't binding at all, is it?

Yep, in fact if I press the button repeatedly, it emits the paper without any issue. Expended about 2 feet of paper while trying this.

Hi, i have found a solution for this problem. I`ve contacted the manufacturer and they have sent me the older firmware version. The firmware and the upload tool are in the attachment. You will need a USB FTDI cable or breakout to upload it. You can also change the baud rate and the character page on your printer.
