[SOLVED] Sd2Card SPISettings problem

by soundmanbe on Mon Apr 20, 2015 6:57 am

hello again,

I'm testing the BMP Card reader for SSD1351 (found in SSD1351's library exemple).
Same with "listfiles.ino" in SD exemple library...

Compiling error :
arduino-1.6.1/libraries/SD/src/utility/Sd2Card.cpp:27:8: error: 'SPISettings' does not name a type
static SPISettings settings;

Any suggestion? (No time to find a solution by myself this time...;-) )

I just compiled the bmp example in the SSD1351 library with Arduino 1.6.1, and I get no errors. I think you may have a bad installation. Try getting the latest Arduino and see if the problem goes away.

I use the latest Arduino 1.6.1. It resolve me some other problems I had, but not this one.
The test program work perfectly, not the bmp.

Seems that's coming from SD.h...
Each program testing with #include <SD.h> inside give me the same error.

The latest is 1.6.3
http://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software
Get a fresh copy. Your copy is corrupted somehow.

Thank's Rick for your quick answer.
Version 1.6.3 doesn't exist yet with adafruit trinket(mini, pro...) device included.

I erase the SD library, reload it on the website an replace it in the Arduino library directory. It's working fine now.
The problem was coming from the SD library included with arduino 1.6.1.

Best regards
